The farm of Gandolfo Filippone is located in the heart of Sicily, a thousand metres above sea level in the uncontaminated environment of the Madonie mountains. It is the fruit of a passion for agriculture handed down from father to son. In the past, the company cultivated primarily cereals, forage and grain legumes, but a few years ago it began expanding its production, focusing on the most typical aromatic Mediterranean herbs such as laurel, sage, rosemary, thyme, fennel, lavender and oregano. The company’s approach is organic and its own herbs are cultivated in an environmentally friendly way, in harmony with ancient agricultural practices. Its products are certified and protected by the «paniere natura» (nature basket) brand of the Madonie Regional Natural Park.
